You have my sympathy, hot weather is not our friend. Black tights, instead of drainpipes, maybe with shorts or a mini skirt. Black draped things, in jersey or rayon, or take oversized shirts (men’s button down, tee shirts, etc) and wear them with a belt (or a few). Might try some black lace or fishnet, very breathable. Make use of your accessories - jewelry, lots of necklaces, big cross earrings, that way you can get the idea even across if you’re just wearing a tee shirt. If you want the studded leather jacket look, maybe a leather vest, or look for a motorcycle jacket style in canvas instead of leather.

How do you feel about the Victorian type dress some goths wear? Or about some of the other trends that seem to come up, dreads, the colours, piercings etc.
I find the Victorian era beautiful and intriguing, but I find most people who wear corsets now ridiculous. If it’s done well it can be beautiful, but it usually isn’t. As for the other things to which you are referring, which I would presume to be “Cybergoths”, they all receive a resounding: NO.
